Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best known for her roles in TV series The Shield and True Blood. The versatility of her character has been shown in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7 and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in 2003. Her performance in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first to catch her notice. However, it was her performance of the feminist Fannie Louis Hamer, in the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she earned as an actress. Hind has also been acknowledged for her performance in the role she played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the series' third season. Hind recently wrapped up shooting on the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters and will be released in the middle of 2019.
