After her graduation from the University of Texas she moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in professional acting. She was a model for print and began her acting career being featured in commercials. Her career began as a print model and participated in a number of commercials. She first appeared in minor role in TV shows like A Thin Line Supah Ninjas & How I Met Your Mother. The actress began her film career in the same year. Her first movies were Detention, and DisCONNECTED. She had her first major career breakthrough when she appeared as Kristina Davis in the drama General Hospital. About a full year was dedicated to the series. It was her turn to play as Raven Reyes, the mechanic on the show's science fiction series The 100. The show gave her a big jump in her career. At first, she played a character that was repeated however, she is now one of the principal characters of The 100's most recent season.
